My new server...

I am trying to host a new server but i am having issues trying to join.Me and other's can't join.
I have my sql mclawl and the server hardware
When people try to join it say's
"connecting.......
Could not connect,Server's probably down."
But there is no error code.
If you can help i would appreciate the help-
